George was not having a good day on the golf course. After he missed a very short putt, his partner asked him what the problem was.
"It's the wife" said George. " As you know, she's taken up golf, and since she's been playing, she's cut my sex down to once a week".
"Consider yourself lucky" another member of the foursome said, "she's cut some of us out altogether."
ODD COLOR
A foursome of ladies was about to tee off on a par three when suddenly from out of the trees a streaker runs across the fairway. With a gasp one lady shreaked, "I think I know that guy! Iisn't that Dick Green?" "No" replied the other, "That's just the reflection off the grass!"
HOW TO PICK A CADDY
A golfer looking to pick a caddy for the day's round called one over and asked, "I need a caddy who really knows how to keep score. What's 3 and 4 and 5 come to?"
"11 sir" said the caddy.
"My bag's the red one over there", said the golfer.
ACROBATIC DOG
Two friends meet on the golf course and decide to finish their rounds together. The one friend has a little dog with him. On the next green, the man holes out a 20 foot putt, and the little dog starts barking while standing up on its hind legs. The friend is quite amazed at this clever trick and says, "That dog is quite talented! What does it do when you miss a putt?"
"Somersaults."
"Somersaults?! How many of them does it do?"
"All depends on how hard I kick him in the ass!"

WTF! (optical illusions)
Spinning Dancer
If the foot touching the ground is perceived to be the left foot, the dancer appears to be spinning clockwise (if seen from above); if it is taken to be the right foot, then she appears to be spinning counterclockwise. Concentrate and see if you can make it change directions!
"Lilac Chaser"
Lilac Chaser consists of 12 lilac blurred disks arranged in a circle around a small black, central cross on a gray background. One of the disks disappears briefly (for about 0.1 second), then the next (about 0.125 second later), and the next, and so on, in a clockwise direction. When one stares at the cross for about 20 seconds or so, one first sees a gap running around the circle of lilac disks, then a green disk running around the circle of lilac disks, then a green disk running around on the gray background, with the lilac disks having disappeared or having been erased by the green disk. This is due to an interesting effect in which the colors of the lilac disks are inverted in the optical illusion to a green color. See More Optical Illusions!

PRETTY GIRL PULLS OFF AMAZING TRICK SHOT, OR IS IT A HOAX? (...play over and over the exact moment she hits the ball....see all the "pixelation" around where the ball was?(Photoshop??)...also look behind the guy holding the can...does it look to you like there's a guy squatting behind him on the ground that was blurred out? (you really can't see this until the ball is struck and the people on the right move out of the way.) , and if you look carefully you can see another white object (ball) that appears to hit this blurred object then drop down behind the guy holding the can..
We think it's a hoax.
Which brings us to our last point ...a plastic ball would not smash a can flat like this one was. So in order to believe this we would have to believe that the guy holding this can, and all these people would risk their lives standing in front of this girl hitting a golf ball at such close range.
Hmmm...not buyin' it.
So why did we post it if we feel it's a hoax? Well, the girl is pretty hot, she does have a decent swing, and we're cool with a good golf hoax now and again. Actually with a swing that solid on a girl that pretty we'd actually consider adding her to our Girls of Golf gallery if she contacted us...but she'd have to fess-up first!

Two of the most notable LPGA pros won't be in today's field for the Women's US Open Golf Championship. Natalie Gulbis and Michelle Wie both failed to qualify by not winning since last years Open, and falling short in the qualifying round by 1 and two shots respectively. Neither the LPGA nor the fans wanted to lose these two fan favorites for this event. On the other hand our own Diana D'Alessio will be in today's field, and we all wish her the best of luck today and this weekend! Be sure to route for her out there! Go DEE!!! |
