

ISOMETRICS
One more exercise I'd suggest you add to your exercise routine is Isometrics using elastic tubing.(exercise bands)
Attach the bands to a doorknob or other immovable object and do three 8-second reps simulating the golf swing. Use the left hand, the right hand, then both hands and pull the bands forward as far as you can and hold for 8 seconds. Do three sets with each hand individually, then 3 sets with both. This will isolate and strengthen the fast twitch muscles resulting in increased club head speed through impact. Do these every other day or so.
Using exercise bands has been proven to increase clubhead speed in studies.
Next we will get into the actual golf swing and what I feel really helped me increase my club head speed.
